29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 68 North Pleasant St Amherst, MA: On or about November 20, 2012, employees were stripping shingles from this steep roof (slope 6/12 and 12/12) more than 25 feet above the ground below without any fall protection as required by this subpart: Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
