29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals: a) Firing Range, Dip Tank, Polishing Areas, Henry RAC Holding Corporation, 59 East 1st Street, Bayonne, NJ 07002 Half mask negative pressure respirators equipped with HEPA filtlers were not stored properly when not in use. Lead contamination of 432.05 micrograms (ug) was found in the facepiece of a half mask respirator used by a worker and found hanging in the firing range. Condition noted on or about 09/21/2012.
