29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6): The driver was not required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel. Powered industrial truck drivers did not have a clear view of the path of travel in the following areas, where lift trucks and pedestrian traffic occurred: Shipping Dept. Powered industrial truck operators carried/pushed up to 8 double-stacked palletized units of 500 corrugated cardboard sheets in the forward position while moving product from storage areas to stage it near loading dock doors. The height of the product obstructed the view of the operators. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
