29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Residential Home - The employer did not provide fall awareness or hazard recognition training pertaining to falls for employees conducting roofing activities on a steep roof (pitch 9 in 12) installing roof shingles 30 feet from the top of the roof and 10 feet and 9 inches from the eave without conventional fall protection. The employees had not received any training on fall hazards.
