29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a) 448 Shartlesville Road jobsite - The employer did not adequately evaluate the hazards associated with tree trimming and landscaping activities to determine the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) required to complete each job task, on or about July 31, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
