29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: a) at the mill and pallet shop an employee operating the baker saw was exposed to continuous noise levels at 98.2% of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of this dose % is 89.9 dBA. The sampling was performed for 434 minutes during one shift on June 28,2012. b) at the warehouse #2 an employee operating the double head saw was exposed to continuous noise levels at 132.2% of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of this dose % is 92.0 dBA. The sampling was performed for 462 minutes during one shift on June 28,2012. c) at the mill and pallet shop an employee operating the trim line saw was exposed to continuous noise levels at 242.0% of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of this dose % is 96.4 dBA. The sampling was performed for 432 minutes during one shift on June 28,2012.
