29 CFR 1926.651(k)(1): Daily inspections of excavations, the adjacent areas, and protective systems were not made by a competent person for evidence of a situation that resulted in a cave-ins. a) Lot 296 Harlequin Loop, Heritage Shore, Bridgeville, DE - The employer did not have a person trained to conduct daily inspections of excavation, adjacent areas and protective systems, so they could recognized hazards associated with trenching and excavation, and take prompt correction action to eliminate hazards. This violation occurred on or about May 24, 2012. ABATEMENT VERFICATION REQUIRED
