Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish emp loyment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that w ere causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)D ate of Violation:10/01/12 Location:17001 Overhill Road Equipment:Bobcat Mini-Exc avator Model #325G, Serial #AAC5139695 Condition:While traversing the slope to g et to the telephone the employee was not wearing a seatbelt. Among other methods , one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard, is to have the oper ator use the seatbelt as referenced in the fore pages of the manufacturer's oper ator's handbook and the fore pages of the manufacturer's operation and maintenan ce manual. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, t raining certification, etc.) is required for this item.
