(a)Date of Violation:On or About 01/12/12 Location:Trusses on the Building Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques that included not having any braces in place on the top side of the trusses. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement to correct this hazard is to install the bracing in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction and the Building Component Safety Information, BCSI-B1 Summary Sheet/Guide for Handling, Installing Restraining, and Bracing of Trusses. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
