P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being thrown out of a forklift: A) By marina building, on or about October 5, 2010, a Caterpillar V 300 forklift did not have a seatbelt, exposing employees to a hazard of being thrown out of the operator's seat. One feasible and acceptable abatement method is to have seat belts installed on forklift. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.TION
