29 CFR 1910.119(h)(3)(iv): The contract employer did not assure that each contract employee follows the safety rules of the facility including the safe work practices required by 29 CFR 1910.119(f)(4): This violation was observed on or about 22 Jan 10, where the employer did not conduct any safety checks/inspections of its operators while engaged with work assignments. This exposed employees to fire, explosion and highly hazardous chemical (HHC) Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), within 10 calendar days of the date of the citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps it is taking to ensure that the employer will conduct unannounced visits of the remote/ offshore sites to observe employees conducting various job tasks.
