Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees of Avis Rent A Car de Puerto Rico Inc., while worked as Lead Service Agent was exposed to physical harm and death due that the employer did not provided training related to the establishment of their written protocol for the handling of domestic violence in the workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No. 217 of 2006 and Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act, Act No. 16 of 1975 as amended. Hazard: Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic Violence in the worplace Method to abate the hazard: The employer shall provide training to all the establishment's employees related to its written protocol for the handling of domestic violence in the workplace. Empleados de Avis Rent A Car de Puerto Rico Inc., mientras trabajaban como Agentes de Servcio, estaban expuestos a dano fisico y muerte; debido a que el patrono no proveyo un adiestramiento relacionado al establecimiento de su Protocolo para el Manejo de Violencia Domestica en el lugar de trabajo, como es requerido por la Ley para la Implantacion de un Protocolo para Manejar Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el lugar de trabajo, Ley No. 217 de 2006 y la Seccion 6 (a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico, Ley 16 del 5 de agosto de 1975 segun enmendadas. Riesgo: Fatalidades, lesiones y enfermadades relacionadas a Violencia Domestica en el lugar de trabajo. Metodo para disminuir el riesgo: El patrono debe proveer adiestramiento a todos los empleados en los establecimientos con relacion al protocolo escrito para el manejo de violencia domestica en el area de trabajo.a
