Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish emp loyment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that w ere causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)D ate of Violation:On or about 11/17/08 Location:Rear of Home Condition:Employees were not trained in emergency procedures and readiness in the event of an emerge ncy situation. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to follow the requirements set forth in A.N.S.I. Z133 .1-2006, Sections 3.3.1 through 3.3.5, which requires emergency phone numbers be available, an adequately stocked first aid kit be provided at the work location , instruction in identification and treatment of common poisonous plants, employ ees trained in emergency response and rescue procedures, and cardiopulmonary and first aid training. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training cer tification, etc.) is required for this item.
