29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(i)(D): Process safety information pertaining to the equipment in the process did not include the relief system design and design basis: a) Sunoco Marcus Hook Refinery: The employer's process safety information (PSI) did not include the design and design basis of the relief system for the sphere "Tank SPH-3", as evident by the fact that the employer's PSI provided a relief system design based on pentane for relief valve RV-4731, and identified the physical properties of the relieved material as those associated with pentane. There is no design or design basis to reflect that the vessel and the associated relief valve are utilized in a process to contain or relieve "Light Cat Gas". Observed on or about 5/8/2009. b) Sunoco Marcus Hook Refinery: The employer's process safety information (PSI) did not include the design and design basis of the relief system for sphere "Tank SPH-4", as evident by the fact that the employer's PSI provided a relief system design based on pentane for relief valve RV-4732, and identified the physical properties of the relieved material as those associated with pentane. There is no design or design basis to reflect that the vessel and the associated relief valve are utilized in a process to contain or relieve "Lt St Run" (Light Straight Run Gasoline).
