Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Acoustic panels drop and/or acoustic sealing collapse. At Farmacias El Amal, Aguadilla Shopping Center employees were working in an area where the acoustic sealing supporting frame had dropt. At the time of inspection the acoustic sealing was exposed to rain water dripping by different parts. One feasible and available method to correct these hazards is to make a throwly inspection of the whole frame, level the dropt areas and fasten them as necesary. a)Caida de paneles acusticos y/o desplome de techo acustico. At Farmacias El Amal, Aguadilla Shopping Center empleados estaban trabajando en un area donde el marco de soporte del plafon acustico habia cedido. Al momento de realizarse la inspeccion el plafon acustico estaba expuesto a agua de lluvia que caida por diferentes partes. Un metodo disponible y viable para corregir estos riesgos es realizar una inspeccion detallada de todo el plafon, nivelar las areas que han cedido y asegurarlas segun fuera necesario."
