Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: In the cellar of the supermarket, the interior of the freezer was observed with loosing of the concrete ceiling due to faults of the insulation in the freezer. The employees went to the freezer to pick up meats and other merchandise for their work areas. Hazard: Hit by concrete pieces. Among other correction methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is repair the ceiling and correct the insulation of the freezer. En el sotano del supermercado, el interior del congelador se observo con desprendimiento del techo de concreto. Los empleados iban al congelador para recoger carnes y otras mercancias para sus areas de trabajo. Riesgo: Golpes por pedazos de concreto. Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reparar el techo y corregir la insulacion del congelador.
