Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. At "Isla Caja de Muerto". Receive injuries/illnesses due to broken windows in the main building first and second floor. The employees were exposed to falls due to wet floors and get sick due to changes in temperatures during the nigth time. Among others methods,one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to fix all the windows that were broken. a. En la Isla de Caja De Muerto. Recibir lesiones y enfermedades debido a ventanas rotas en el edificio principal en el primer y segundo piso. Los empleados estaban expuestos a caidas debido a pisos mojados y a enfermedades debido a los cambios de temperaturas durante la noche. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es arreglar o poner ventanas nuevas.
