Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm: Receiving area, west side of store, the Autoquip hydraulic scissor lift; manufacturer's instructions were not followed to use maintenance leg to secure the lift platform from falling while maintenance activity was being performed. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to make all repairs by qualified personnel in conformance with the manufacturer's instructions that meets the American National Standard Institute Standard MH29.1 Paragraph 12.4. ***Certification and Documentation of Abatement Required***on
