North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)throughout facility such as corrugator - monorail cranes had not been inspected. REFERENCE: ANSI B30.11-1980; paragraph 11-2.1.1(a) Initial Inspection - Prior to initial use, all equipment shall be inspected. NOTE:One feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to perform an inspection on all systems and maintain the inspections periodically and frequently.
