North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)facility; weave room maintenance - monorail system with 1/2 ton budgit hoist has not been inspected annualy. b)facility; warping - monorail system with 1 ton Jet hoist has not been inspected annualy. c)facility; weave room - six monorail systems with 1/4 ton Chester hoists have not been inspected annualy. REFERENCE: ANSI/ASME B30.11-1998; Paragraph 11-2.1.1 (a) Prior to initial use, all new, reinstalled, altered, or modified crane and monorail systems shall be inspected...(b) on a frequent and periodic basis. NOTE: One feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to have the monorail systems inspected on a periodic basis.ic
