North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to: 1)Employer Mr. Sidney and Steve Scott failed to provide to each of his employees a place of employment wherein employees were not exposed to live electrical parts. At Mr. Scott's temporary labor camp workers were exposed daily to live electrical parts in the kitchen as a refrigerator was not supplied with proper path to ground. One acceptable and reasonable method of abatement is to install a three prong cord on the refrigerator.
