North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Unsafe conditions in the operation of Refuse Trucks. (Ref: American National Standard (ANSI) Z245.1.1992 section 6.2.4 (a) a)Route, Justice Road - employee riding on the rear step of Refuse Truck while traveling in reverse. This resulted in a facility on 03/12/99. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to train and monitor employees in the safe operation of Refuse Trucks.
