29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) New residential construction located at 7225 Maple Brook Lane, Flowery Branch, GA 30542: On or about 12/08/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 21 feet to the lower ground level, in that the ladder used to access the roof of the structure was not extended at least three feet above the upper landing surface or secured to prevent accidental movement during use.
