29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(i)(A): Helmets or hand shields were not used during all arc welding or arc cutting operations: a) 79 Randolph Rd, Howell, NJ - Production Floor - The employer allowed the employee to weld steel without a welding helmet or hand shield to protect the employee from the arc welding rays. This condition was observed on or about August 26, 205. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
