29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2):The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii): a.) Genesis Roofing and Construction, LLC; 552 W. 12th Street, Erie, PA - On or about 7/1/25, and at times prior thereto, employees had not been trained on the requirements noted in the 29 CFR Subpart M. Employees were conducting roof work operations and were exposed to falls up to 15 feet. b.) Genesis Roofing and Construction, LLC; 552 W. 12th Street, Erie, PA - On or about 7/1/25, and at times prior thereto, employees had not been provided with training on the requirements of the safety monitoring system prior to using the safety monitor system for the method of fall protection. Employees were conduction roof work operations and were exposed to falls of 15 feet. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement
