29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular hand-fed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood, which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a) Employee(s) engaged in cutting lumber in Building 5 located at 301 Overland Park Place, New Century, Kansas were exposed to struck-by hazards due to the left side guard being suspended above the table for the NorthTech Industrial Machinery saw, thus no adjustable guard enclosing the rotating saw blade above the table. (b) Employee(s) engaged in cutting lumber in Building 5-1/2 located at 301 Overland Park Place, New Century, Kansas on the Delta Unisaw 10 inch tilting arbor saw were exposed to struck-by hazards due to no adjustable hood enclosing the rotating saw blade above the table.
