29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: On or about April 10, 2025, employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck in the head by falling materials and tools, on a construction site in Peoria, Illinois, and were not required to wear a hard hat while working underneath employees performing construction activities. D.T. ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 1926.100(A), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER: 1502941, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 3 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON FEBRUARY 10, 2021, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1420 N. MAIN ST, WASHINGTON, ILLINOIS 61571.
