29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) 417 Columbia Blvd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002: Employees and the company foreman were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working from a residential structure's pitched roof while not using fall protection. Angel Repairs, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1695888, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on November 3, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4000 Ocean Heights Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
