29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: a) Rooftop - On March 18, 2025, an employees performed the service and maintenance task of inspecting an exhaust fan belt. The employer failed to ensure that employees who perform service and/or maintenance received training in the energy control program, and recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the types and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control, thereby exposing employees to the unexpected energization and/or startup of the equipment.
