29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun. a) New residential construction located at 2885 Thompson Mill Rd., Buford, GA 30519: On or about 3/17/25, the employer exposed an employee to struck-by hazards while operating a pneumatic framing nail gun, in that protective eyewear was not provided while operating this tool. The employee was exposed to struck-by hazards which included plastic collated fragments, wood debris, and 3-inch fasteners.
