Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii):The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, including, but not limited to Items of this section: a) 800 Van Reed Road, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Line #1 - Employees performed servicing and maintenance activities on such equipment as but not limited to pneumatic actuated rack and pinion actuator, Model # TS092 directly mount to ball valve TOP-FLO TF4. The employer did not develop and implement a machine-specific energy control procedures, exposing employees caught-in and struck-by hazards, on or about March 11, 2025. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
