29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6): The driver shall be required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel. a) On 2/18/2025, the employer did not ensure that employee operating a Caterpillar forklift (Model #2c5000)(Serial # AT9047038) was looking in the direction of travel resulting in a pedestrian being struck by the forklift. Employees were utilized large mirrors mounted onto the forklift versus looking in the direction of travel.
