29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: a) Work site, Hickory Bush Lane - On or about January 29, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employees were conducting tree felling work and did not have personal protective equipment such as fall protection. The employer did not assess the workplace for hazards associated with tree felling work exposing employees to fall hazards associated with an open mine shaft.
