29 CFR?1926.501(b)(14):??Each employee?working on,?at, above,?or near?wall openings?(including those?with chutes?attached), where?the outside?bottom edge?of the?wall opening?was 6?feet (1.8?m) or?more above?lower levels?and the?inside bottom?edge of?the wall?opening is?less than?39 inches?(1.0 M)?above the?walking/working surface,?is not?protected from?falling by?the use?of a?guardrail system,?a safety?net system,?or a?personal fall?arrest system: a)?On February 4, 2025, ?employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 4 stories while?working near?an unprotected?wall opening.?? In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
