29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. a. On or about February 4, 2025, at 930 North US Highway 17 92 Longwood, FL: employees were exposed to a 10-foot 2-inch fall hazard, in that a multi-position ladder was used to access a 2/12 pitched commercial roof and did not extend 3-feet above the roof landing. Tru-Tek Waterproofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1735165, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 08, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 990 Burlwood Court, Longwood FL 32750.
