29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(iv)(c): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were used where there were open flames or other sources of ignition within the possible path of vapor travel: On or about January 29, 2025, the employer did not ensure that Category 2 flammable liquids and Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F, were used where there were no sources of ignition within the possible path of vapor travel. Employees in the Coil Room, utilize chemicals including, but not limited to, 3M Scotchkote Electrical Coating, Evercoat Body Shop Body Filler, and Klean Strip Lacquer Thinner, near ignition sources such as open electrical outlets, charging electronics, grinders, and static.
