29 CFR 1910.28(c)(3): The employer did not barricade the area into which objects could fall, prohibiting employees from entering the area, and keeping objects far enough away from an edge or opening to prevent them from falling to a lower level: a) Worksite, rear side of residential building: On or about 1/27/25, the employer allowed an employee to manually fell an approximately 70' tree while non-involved workers were positioned within the drop zone, which was not identified by barricades or other means. Employees were struck by the tree and sustained serious injuries.
