29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders were not secured or located where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: a) In the Spectro Lab, on or about January 16, 2025 - A compressed gas cylinder of argon was not secured so that they could not be knocked over by passing employees. b) Small Furnace Area, on or about January 16, 2025 - Compressed gas cylinders including oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide and acetylene were not secured so that they could not be knocked over by passing employees and/or vehicular traffic including fork trucks.
