29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity: Location: a) At the jobsite, 301 Park Ave, New York, N.Y., in the catwalk area above the Grand Ballroom of the jobsite: On or about January 2, 2025, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard, which a ceiling sheetrock panel was unable to support his body weight exerted on it and collapsed. The employee was exposed to falling approximately 45 feet to the lower level.
