29 CFR 1926.850(a): Evidence in writing was not available that an engineering survey performed by a competent person had been performed prior to permitting employee(s) to start demolition operations: (a) Former Hotel Property at 677 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, On or about December 20th, 2024, an engineering survey was not maintained in writing prior to performing demolition operations, thereby exposing employees to the potential of an unplanned structural collapse. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
