29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: On or about December 19, 2024, it was documented that employees engaged in fabrication, assembly, and material handling in the production area Behlen MFG CO located at 4025 East 23rd Street, Columbus, Nebraska were exposed to fire and burn hazards in that the employer failed to ensure approximately 91 employer provided portable fire extinguishers received an annual maintenance check.
