Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation. (a) On or about November 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that each BOE's operators and adjustors were adequately trained on the methods and means necessary for the isolation and control of all hazardous energy sources prior to starting set up work. Adjustor and operator employees were not trained to and authorized level, exposing the employees to amputation, caught-in and entanglement hazards.
