29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: At a worksite located at 6530 Winner Road, Kansas City, MO 64125: The employer failed to protect employees from injurious from corrosive materials. This was most recently demonstrated on or about December 19, 2024, and at times prior to when wall-mounted eyewash stations were not in working order. Employee(s) use various chemicals as part of the manufacturing process at the facility, and some of the materials are corrosive. In the event of contact with the eye or skin, a lack of drenching or flushing could lead to further injury.
