29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1): The employer did not designate a competent person to monitor the safety of other employees and/or did not ensure that the safety monitor complied with the requirements listed in (h)(1)(i) through (h)(1)(v) of this section: a) On or about November 19, 2024, on and around Building 2 at a job site known as both Innisbrook Apartments and Palm Harbor Apartments located at 36110 US HWY 19N Palm Harbor, FL: The employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet, in that, the safety monitor was approximately 200 feet away and unable to communicate orally with employees while they were installing floor trusses on the 2nd story of the building.
