Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1):The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, unguarded, and ungrounded electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: Midsun Group, Inc. at the jobsite located at 2385 Campbell Road in Sidney, Ohio; On or about November 14, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from coming into contact with electrical power circuits through the course of work. Employees engaged in the refurbishment of the middle metal clad switch gear cabinet were exposed to electrical shock hazards associated with contact with 12kV in that the BK-2M Bus was not deenergized and grounded or effectively guarded.
