29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. Employees performing roofing work at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against fall as required by the standard, as demonstrated on November 14, 2024, when five employees performing roofing work on a 6:12 pitch roof of a residential home located at 247 Ormwood Drive, Ormond Beach, Florida, were exposed to the fall hazards, in that employees did not use any fall protection system. ELO Restoration, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1685496, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 23, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 736 Spring Haven Drive, Saint Johns, FL 32259. ELO Restoration, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475872, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 424 Blairmore Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073.
