29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Location: Workplace located at 256-271 Marginal Street East Boston On November 7, 2024, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of over six feet to the pavement below while walking and working on a steel dock during rigging operations. Or in the alternative; 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(15): Each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 meters) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: On November 7, 2024, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of over six feet to the pavement below while walking and working on a steel dock during rigging operations.
