29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): (1) Walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition; a) On and after 10/21/2024, the employer did not ensure that the walking-working surfaces near plant 6 were being regularly inspected, and being maintained in a safe condition to ensure that the fissures located on the black top did not impose a hazard where the excavation created a 10 to 14" drop off between the excavation and the end of the blacktop driveway where forklift trucks were being operated.
