29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system: On or about October 23, 2024, and at times prior thereto, employees performed panel installation to a post sign without the implementation of a personal fall prevention system used. Comet Sign was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1620484, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 20841 HWY 281, San Antonio, TX. 78258.
