29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a. On or about October 21, 2024, at the jobsite located at 9908 W 145th Pl, Orland Park, IL 60462, an employee was exposed to eye injury while operating a pneumatic nail gun without wearing eye protection while installing roof shingles. The Byron Heredi dba Byron Heredi was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1522472, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 118 Albion Ave. Park Ridge, IL 60068.
